Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, four normal turtles that came in contact with the Ooze and transformed them into mutants. Master splinter a rat who also had touched the ooze, taught them in the arts of Ninjutsu.

I've been playing some of the TMNT games for a while now, never owning them myself but always trying them. All the previous games had been a side on brawling game, seeing as thats what the turtles are known for, their combat skills, it was an easy way for them to make money.

Now with the recent release of the CGI TMNT movie, they created a game to go along with it. Created by the same people who did Prince of Persia, and using the same engine. The game has often been labeled a kids version of PoP series. While fairly easy in diffulcty compared to most games, its not that easy to find it boring. Its just a good pace so you can play the story though without having to do the same things over and over again.

With addition to the main storyline, you have the oppertunity to return to levels to collect special items you have missed before to unlock bonus items, costumes, and videos.

Overall a pretty fun game, especially for the ninja turtle fans!

This actually looks pretty good and couldn't be anymore different from the 2D 'walk from left to right' version that I remember playing!

See, I thought the opposite. TMNT just didn't hold my attention long enough, and again the developers missed out on the one thing fans have wanted to do since the arcade version ... 4 player online. For a next gen title, that should have been here.

On the flip side, I've heard good things of the GBA title. Old school gameplay with new school charm. Might have to take a closer look at it, especially at the discounted prices all GBA games seem to be at these days.
