Future Look: Splinter Cell: Conviction
August 8th 2007 11:52
Gone are the three-green-eyed night vision goggles that became a trademark of the series. Gone are the crawling around in the dark warehouse missions from the other games. This time Fisher is back, but doing things a whole lot differently...
The year is supposed to be 2010, the already veteran hero Sam Fisher is now aged 53 and hes on the run. No longer working for "Third Echelon", Sam is on the run with limited supplies and all sorts of government agencies on his tail. Taking a page out of the books of the Bourne Series and the popular 24 TV series, Ubisoft is taking the game a completely different direction for the fifth installment of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell series.
So far only announced for the 360 and PC's running Windows, Splinter Cell will be one of those games that are truely next-gen (now the current generation of games).
