Future Look: Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction

The fifth installment of the ever so popular platform series Ratchet & Clank is the first of the series for the new Playstation 3. Set to be released in North America 2nd of October, and in the UK in November
Watching over some of the new trailers being released with this game, it seems that they have kept the same feel and gameplay as the it was in the original game, however the worlds have been massively upgraded and populated for the Next Gen console. The games storyline will be based around Ratchet (The Main Characters) quest to find his origins, bringing along his cool little robotic side kick along for the ride.
Perhaps one of the most exciting features of the Ratchet and Clank series is the assortment of weaponry Ratchet uses. Ever since the original title the developers Insomniac Games have included some powerful and some very hilarious weapons to be used against the bad guys. Heres an example: RYNO (Rip Ya a New One) was a massive rocket launcher from the first and the Sheepinator that turns enemies into sheep in the Second Game (Going Commando or Locked and Loaded depending which version you got). And now in the latest installment comes the Groovitron, a grenade type object that when thrown makes the enemies dance to the tune of "Staying Alive". Genius.
